Back in 2012 I had the amazing opportunity to travel with UVU's Photo Department and photograph some incredible places and people in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and other southern states.
I learned so much from this experience and grew so much as a person. At the time I was getting ready to leave on a mission and I felt that meeting the people that I met on this trip really helped me prepare spiritually to serve the Lord.
These images mean a lot to me and I look at them often. Shot all on film, I wanted to show the beauty that I saw in a simple manner.
